"Well, after?" - "Father."

Observe the good manners and reticence. I swear by him in Whose hands my soul is, nothing adorns so people like these two qualities.

Truly, you remain well while keep your mouth shut. If you start talking, it will be either for you or against you.

Has suffered a loss, the slave whose heart Allah has made mercy to people!

Shyness and lack of speech[*] - two branches of the faith, and being rude and rant are two branches of hypocrisy.

And they schemed, and Allah schemed, and Allah is the best of schemers.

We have offered the heavens, earth and mountains to take responsibility [duty to fulfill what Allah has commanded and to move away from what He has forbidden], but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it [that can do it, but man undertook to bear it. Verily, he was unjust and ignorant [no idea what awaits him in the end].

Charity should be an integral part of every Muslim. If a person has nothing, he needs to earn a living with their own hands and give a portion to charity. If physical condition does not allow him to work, then he should just help the poor and those in need. If he cannot do even this, let it be an encouragement to others to do good...

Every part of human beings must give alms, every day from sunrise; to judge justly between two people is charity; a good word is charity; every step towards the mosque is charity, too.

The best in the world drinking is when a person has evil word already in his mouth, and he was not released, and swallowed it.

The riches [wealth] and children [your sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters] - [fascinating, pleasant] the ornament of this life. And that stays with you forever and well-behaved at its core, is the best before the Lord in recompense and best with which to associate their hopes, expectations and aspirations.
