The honey bees adored these places, just as Grandfather intended - I think he loved bees more than people. All his life he was fond of beekeeping; there were about twenty beehives on the site, and they were in better condition than a house or barn.

I keep looking around, and the flowers make me think of bees, which are a big part of my life. These unusual, wonderful creatures have always seemed to me entertaining. Isn't it amazing that our usual life ultimately comes down to something as simple as a bee flying from flower to flower?
