Americans love to be entertained, they call it to have fun,to play, and they do it with enthusiasm, hard. But they with the same enthusiasm and also struggling to work, I would even say injected. Never work in America, and perhaps nowhere is the "rest" - I put quotes because the rest still involves peace, what the American "vacation" does not provide.
New York does not allow indifference: it either love or hate, the middle is missing.
