- Do you believe in it, then for you it is.
- You always speak in riddles, but in a sense they are not. Your words can be understood in different ways, they do not bring comfort or knowledge, but only confusion.

That's how come the death of the gods. Three years will last a terrible winter, and in summer the sun will be black. People lose hope, are torn apart by greed and war comes. Midgardsorm, the world serpent, will come from the ocean and lead to a rush to flood the world. Fenrir, the giant wolf, will break his invisible chains. The clouds asunder, and the fire giant Surt will go, blazing, across the bridge to kill the gods. One will come out of the gates of Valhalla for the final battle with the huge wolf. Thor will kill the serpent, but die from its poison. Surt sell the land the fire, and then Fenrir will swallow the sun.
