I'm afraid it's a matter of heredity, but it's hard to say what is the role of the genes themselves, and what is the role of the circumstances due to which this or that gene manifests itself and leads to trouble.

Each of us has our own pernicious passion. With you, with me, with Eve, with your wife. We live by these passions, and they also lead us to death. Through them we express ourselves, although sometimes we are misunderstood.

Euphoria. Even the word itself, just the word, thrills you. It is associated only with wildlife - it would never occur to you to use it when talking about the sensations that can be experienced in a modern city. Delight, ecstasy, but euphoria - never. Euphoria demands silence.
