I used to think that it was me who devoured book after book. I read one and take another according to my choice and desire. And then I realized that it is books that consume us. Like a fish on a hook, they hook the reader from the first page and grind all his ideas about life, flicking his nose with one page, cutting his fingers into blood with another. And then, taking pity on us, they let us go. They are released differently, with Stockholm syndrome of gratitude for the adventure that they managed to survive. And determining our path in finding the next book to read.
