Not being a priest - preaching from the pulpit are not engaged.

They had heard all this, and their youthful and ardent mind was waiting for more from life, than these sermon on the street and in the mission.

The purpose of every sermon is that would encourage people to live life according to moral principles. And we need to know what these principles are.

Once Abdullah Ibn al-Mubarak was asked:
"There is those who do the instruction?" He said, "do you know who makes the instructions?!"

There was a missionary who became famous throughout the Christian world that led to the Church a lot of people, visiting the most remote corners of the world. Once his ship landed on the small island on which lived only one person. Missionary was struck by his clear eyes, but even more struck by the fact that this man didn't hear anything about God. And he passionately and for a long time preached to him the word of God. And during the sermon he had the feeling that no one has ever so clearly did not understand. But then he saw the Miracle: someone walked on water from island to the ship, or rather did not go, and fled. And then from the mouth walking on the water, he heard: "Hey, buddy, wait. I forgot the last prayer, could you repeat it again."

That night by the will of God had to preach ex tempore, and when I looked at the sea raised me individuals, my brain is flooded with madness. In me nothing is left of the servant of God. I became an actor. I was looking at the audience, and I longed for the power over the feelings of the public, more than that - I felt this power in my hands.
I ought not to be proud of what I did that night. I have always been a serious opponent of emotions, all sorts of sectarian zeal. But this evening I played the role of a boisterous, eloquent preacher.

The Church was full of people. It is unlikely that such an unusual gathering of the faithful could be attributed to the desire to hear the preaching of house. Howse had a boring dogmatist.
And if they managed to check up on what I say instead of house, it also could not attract them. My academic preaching is not less tedious. I'm afraid that to attribute this crowded religious zeal, too, is impossible.
I decided that all came to see who else will be in the Church, and perhaps a little gossip after the service.
