At first, one wonders why stupid people have such confident, convincing intonations. But that's the way it should be. Otherwise, no one would listen to them.

To do stupid things that will bring benefits is wisdom.

But a person who has lived a life, accumulated experience, can only in rare cases afford to be trusting, it is this trustfulness that is based on wisdom, and not on a momentary flash of trust in an outsider and often a complete stranger. Therefore, oddly enough, a person with a lot of experience, both positive and negative, can be truly trusting. And in general, gullibility is a voluntary feeling, it is something that a person can afford. But to be a slave to your own credulity? This is the real stupidity.

In most cases, gullibility is not only stupidity, but stupidity squared, when we strive to wishful thinking.

Always say less than seems necessary. The more you talk, the more likely you are to say something stupid.

Our man will measure seven times and still do stupid things.
