Okay. The hearing is postponed. I release you on bail of one hundred rupees before sentencing.
- I refuse to pay hundred rupees.
Well, in that case, I release you on bail, without bail, pending a court decision.

As you can see, I try to live like an Indian. This will seem strange, maybe even foolish, because in our country it is the British who decide how we live, Indians: what we can buy and what to sell. They live in luxury, and we were in poverty, and they read us a sermon about the higher justice and punish rebelliousness. And our educated youth, speaking about the dignity of the East, greedily absorbs all the weakness of the West.

I admire your courage. I now need courage. <...> I once again urge to fight, to resist their anger not to provoke it. Yes, we will get a shock, although the response to put will not. Because to understand the injustice can only make our pain, our suffering, bleeding wounds. Every struggle means sacrifice, courage, patience. I know we will win. Know. Where there is injustice, where there is violence, I'm always ready to fight, Lord. The question is, what are we fighting for: to change position or to punish the perpetrators. The perpetrators will be punished by the Lord, but in order to change the position, there are better ways than to derail the train.

They can disfigure my body, break my bones and even kill. Then they will only have my dead body but not my obedience.

I am also willing to fight and die for justice, but to kill anyone would not. Any hostile actions in our address were not made, we will stand. And no matter what happens, we did not attack, not kill anyone.

Even one I am willing to fight: the truth remains.

I thought this phrase should be understood metaphorically. The Lord didn't mean...
- This is what the Lord meant. He taught man to be courageous, able to endure blows without striking back, not retreating a single step. When you're doing this in the soul of your enemy gives you a completely new feeling. Hate gives way to respect for you. Did Christ not an example of that?
