Once I had a strange thought: "And if we were alone in the Universe"? Even insurmountable skeptics I think that there might be aliens, and if we fail, somewhere, maybe very far away, other intelligent beings will be lucky. And this is encouraging... But if we were alone? Really alone? If. in all of infinite space was nothing alive and endowed with reason? If all the planets were similar to those seen in the solar system... too cold, or too hot, consisting of gas, magma or rocks? If earthly experience was only a chain of coincidences that are so extraordinary that he would never again? If it was only to reproduce a miracle? This means that if we fail in the exam if we destroy our planet (and we recently can do with nuclear weapons, environmental pollution, etc.), nothing left. After us, maybe the "game over", and you can't start a new party. Maybe we are the last chance. Then our error will be huge.
