Someone has to risk their lives for the sake of others. You need to sacrifice yourself if you don't want to have to sacrifice others. And when they asked from the frontier who would have enough courage, for some reason it seemed to me that I would also be in handy... But it did not occur to me that everything would turn into such nonsense, and my life would have to be given for such a pittance! But, if you think about it, most soldiers part with her that way. Why did I decide that I was any different from them?
