They (most people - K.) prefer to be persuaded and pleaded with, or even errands. Then they will never make mistakes: if a mistake happens, it's someone else's fault, not theirs. Ache straight ahead is a mechanistic view, and people are not machines. They have their own minds, very good minds, which is easiest on a well-trodden path... a Flock of sheep do not drive the market in a straight line, and yet there is always a road to get them there...

Everyone is in the world round ignorant, but God has given him - and even her - brains to acquire knowledge. The inability to use their own brains is not worthy of praise virtue, even women should be to blame for this.

It is impossible indefinitely to maintain the tragic mood. This mind is like the Phoenix. It can be useful and harmful, it's just part of the will to live, even though it allowed us to enter into one grueling battle after another. But we don't have long to mourn even entire oceans of spilled milk - this is a necessary property of our body.
