My father is one of the most witty and kind people I've ever met. In 1954, a journalist asked him one evening: "will You allow me to kidnap your daughter for dinner?" One of the rare things that can not be bought for money, remains a moral comfort. Under the "moral comfort" I mean the ability to live in harmony with yourself.

I think it's better to be deceived in a man than not to trust him; that is, I'm sure, the only moral rule is to always be as possible, very kind and very open; and then nothing is scary.
