If suddenly (which is unlikely) this book becomes a movie, the System 2 will be the secondary character who considers himself a hero. The defining feature of System 2 in this story - the fact that its actions involve effort, and one of its main characteristics is laziness, a reluctance to expend energy more than necessary. So it turns out that those thoughts and actions that System 2 believes her, often originate in the main character of our story System 1. However, there are vital tasks that only System capable of 2 because they require effort and self-control, suppressing the feeling and impulses of System 1.
