For me life is too short to worry about things out of my control and maybe even impossible. I ask: "what if the Earth will swallow a black hole, or there is a distortion of space-time - it's cause for excitement?" My answer: "no", because we know about it only when it reaches our... our place in space-time. We get tremors when nature decides it's time: whether it is the speed of sound, speed of light, speed of electrical impulses we will always be victims of the time delay between the surrounding information and our ability to receive it.
Life is too short for me to worry about something I have no control over that I don't even know will happen. People ask ‘if Earth is going to be swallowed by a black hole or if there is some disturbance in the spacetime continuum should we worry about it?’. My answer is ‘no’ because you won't know about it until it crosses your... your place in space-time. Your beats come to you when nature decides it's the right time... be it the speed of sound, the speed of light, the speed of electrical impulses we will forever be victims of the time delay between information around us and our capacity to receive it.

Ingenuity is to see what everybody else sees, but come to the conclusion that no one never felt before and once to Express it.
Creativity is seeing what everyone else sees, but then thinking a new thought that has never been thought before and expressing it somehow.

The best teachers inspire their students. This inspiration is taken from the passion of the teacher to the taught them the subject. In most cases, this person is devoted to the study of his subject all his life and now shares with listeners his infectious enthusiasm. In my opinion, this enthusiasm has many, but they may not become teachers, because it is not passed through the factory of teachers. But there are teachers that have passed this factory, but they don't have that spark to inspire people. That inspired the student continues to study the subject himself. This difference between leaders and those who goes with the flow, learning for the sake of ratings.
The best educators are the ones that inspire their students. That inspiration comes from a passion that teachers have for the subject they're teaching. Most commonly, that person spent their lives studying that subject, and they bring an infectious enthusiasm to the audience. I think many people have that enthusiasm, but they are prevented from being teachers because they didn't go through the teacher mill. Now you have teachers who have been through the teacher mill, yet they have no capacity to inspire anyone at all. It's the inspired student that continues to learn on their own. That's what separates the real achievers in the world from those who pedal along, finishing assignments.

The theory of evolution, like the theory of gravity, is scientific fact. Evolution is a real phenomenon. To accept their kinship with all life on earth is not just scientific, it is, in my opinion, and dizzying spiritual flight.
The Theory of Evolution, like the Theory of Gravity, is a scientific fact. Evolution really happened. Accepting our kinship with all life on earth is not only solid science, in my view, it's also a soaring spiritual experience.

The problem never happens in children. They are born scientists. The problem is always in the adult. They beat out kids curiosity. They are more than children. They vote. They own the resources. So my public communications are mainly aimed at adults.
Kids are never the problem. They are born scientists. The problem is always The adults. They beat the curiosity out of the kids. They out-number kids. They vote. They wield resources. That's why my public focus is primarily adults.

Yes, the Universe had a beginning. Yes, the universe continues to evolve. And Yes, every atom in our bodies originated either at the time of the Big Bang, or in the thermonuclear cauldron of heavy stars. We don't just live in the Universe we are part of it. We are born with it. You might even say the universe gave us the power to think that up - and we just started.
Yes, the universe had a beginning. Yes, the universe continues to evolve. And yes, every one of our body ' s atoms is traceable to the big bang and to the thermonuclear furnace within high-mass stars. We are not simply in the universe, we are part of it. We are born from it. One might even say we have been empowered by the universe to figure itself out - and we have only just begun.

When you take a hammer, all problems look like nails. And maybe they're not nails. Maybe it is thinner. Therefore, the Toolkit should be enough flexibility to transform into what is needed for the current task.
If you start wielding a hammer, then all your problems look like nails. And maybe they're not. Maybe it's more subtle than that. And so your toolkit has to be able to morph into what is necessary for what it is that you confront at that moment.

The problem, which is usually only aware of in adulthood, is that when looking for things like love, meaning, motivation, it implies that they are hiding somewhere behind a tree or under a rock. The most successful people understand that in life they create their love, themselves endow things with meaning, themselves give rise to motivation. Personally I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and along the way lessen the suffering of the people. These two goals allow us to achieve incredibly great things.
The problem, often not discovered until late in life, is that when you look for things like love, meaning, motivation, it implies they are sitting behind a tree or under a rock. The most successful people recognize, that in life they create their own love, they manufacture their own meaning, they generate their own motivation. For me, I am driven by two main philosophies, know more today about the world than I knew yesterday. And along the way, lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.

Science is a collaborative enterprise that brings together generations. It's passing the torch from teacher to student and the next teacher. It is a community of thinkers, appealing to antiquity, and aspiring to the stars.
Science is a cooperative enterprise, spanning the generations. It's the passing of a torch from teacher to student, to teacher. A community of minds reaching back to antiquity and forward to the stars.
