Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Woe to you lawyers, because you have taken the key of understanding: you yourselves did not enter, and prevented those who entered.

The light that is in you, isn't there darkness?

Which of us father, when his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

The worker is worthy of his reward for his labors.

Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and to destroy or harm himself?

The Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise again on the third day.

Watch how you listen: for whoever has, to him will be given, and whoever does not have, even what he thinks to have will be taken away from him.

A sower went out to sow his seed, and while he was sowing, some fell by the wayside and were trampled on, and the birds of the air pecked at him, and some fell on a stone, and came up and withered, because it had no moisture, and some fell between thorns, and thorns grew up and choked him; and another fell on good ground and, rising up, brought forth fruit a hundredfold.

Many sins are forgiven her because she loved much, and whoever is forgiven little loves little.

With whom shall I compare the people of this generation? and who are they like? They are like children who sit in the street, calling to each other and saying: we played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang you lamentable songs and you did not cry.

A good man brings forth good out of the good treasure of his heart, but an evil man brings forth evil out of the evil treasure of his heart, for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks.

Be merciful, as your Father is merciful. He is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.
