My friend the artist and poet on a rainy evening on glass
My love painted by opening me a miracle on earth.
I sat silently by the window and enjoyed the silence
My love since then has always been with me.

Faded gentle tones,
Disappeared height and depth
And crisp lines no more -
Here is a portrait of indifference.

The figure melts into the glass
To save him there is no hope,
But how do I paint again
The color of joy my love?

And as the water flowed
And I was always warm,
When in the rainy night I
Looked at the window.
But year after year I have met
In the eyes of my love sorrow,
Rainy boredom dim light,
And that love changed color.
