Subconsciously, people always tends to melancholy. Unrequited love romantic happy love, and - as longing or as the pain we feel melancholy sharper than happiness.

Melancholic man was called "child of Saturn". Saturn is characterized as cold and remote, but it has also other meanings. Sometimes he was called the God of wisdom and philosophical reflection.
