Sometimes I go through very serious tests and pass them quite smoothly and with dignity. As if I know where to go, as if wisdom and acceptance are inside me. And sometimes someone steps on your foot and you want to cry inconsolably all day. What is this? Is it just me?

Love your scars, gray hairs, tired crystal eyes, sad thoughts in the evenings and an ever-burning heart.

They dropped it like a guillotine.

Tears heal mental pain just as well as laughter.

But all my tears have already been shed for another love..

I cry quietly, but I care about myself.

We needed a deadline. The date that can be marked on the calendar is the day when all tears dry up and we become whole again. I think it was a revelation to both of us that love is not such a one-piece thing. It was the first realization that sometimes we give ourselves to each other, but we don’t get everything back.
