Evil is always honored, but the innocent suffer.

Evil has its own power. If you take its side, it will hold you back. If you take a wrong step, immediately return to the path of righteousness.

The main cause of evil is our rationality.

Evil is the darkness that lives in the hearts of people who do not want to let the light of God's love into themselves. But if God forcibly expelled this darkness from the human soul, then people would cease to be people and would turn into pious zombies, into automata, rigidly programmed to be good and obedient to God. And then there could be no talk of any love, because robots cannot love.

By exposing the animal instinct, a person becomes the personification of evil.

When they do evil, they understand everything perfectly well. These are not some fools.

The narcissist who does evil to his victim is the bearer of Satan and his angels.

Christ deprived the devil of the right to do evil. He can do evil only if the person himself gives him the right to do so.

By causing harm to your neighbor, you take responsibility for yourself. By exposing another to danger, you risk yourself, since the combination of various circumstances can lead to an unexpected crash and your fate. A truly evil person does not stop even before this. He is pleased by the torment of the sufferer. These torments tickle him pleasantly. The villain's fun is terrible. He feels great at the sight of torture. The Duke of Alba warmed his hands at the fires on which people were burned. Fire is suffering, its reflection is joy. One involuntarily shudders at the thought of what conclusions can be drawn from such contrasts. The dark sides of the soul are incomprehensible. The expression “sophisticated execution” found in Bodin has, perhaps, a triple terrible meaning: refined torture, the suffering of the tortured, the pleasure of the torturer.

"Greed", "ambition" - these words mean that someone is sacrificed to satisfy the appetite of another. How sad that even the concept of “hope” can be perverted! To harbor a grudge against someone means to wish him harm. Why not good? Is it because our will is directed primarily towards evil? The most difficult task is to constantly suppress in your soul the desire for evil, which is so difficult to fight. Almost all of our desires, if you look closely at them, contain something that cannot be admitted. But a complete villain - and such vile perfection exists - develops a rule: the worse for others, the better for me. His conscience is a gloomy den.

Good has historically been chronically unable to unite, while evil does this once and instantly. And when there are even few of them, united, they represent a huge black lump, a huge force. Power is united. They understand that this is their salvation. Good does not understand for a long time that it is necessary to unite in order to resist this black cannonball. That by uniting, they will simply erase and destroy. And when the time comes, goodness unites, everything is demolished, but all of this, unfortunately, is painted red.

Every good thing has a bad end, every evil has a good ending. It's hard to say what was more unbearable.

Good is when they do good to you, and evil is when they do good to others.
