In 9 years I've heard from my rich dad that government officials were a bunch of lazy thieves, and from my poor dad I heard that rich people are greedy crooks who should be made to pay more taxes.

A large amount of money seldom solves someone's money problems. Wisdom solves problems.

Money often expose our tragic omissions. Money direct the spotlight on our ignorance. That is why, too often, the man suddenly falls happiness - for example, inheritance, lottery winnings, soon returns to the same state in which he was to receive money or falls below. A person may not always wisely manage money. If he wants to spend the money most likely goes out the window.

Rich people acquire assets. The poor and middle class acquire liabilities, which is considered an asset.

Our school system created in the agrarian era, still believes in homes with no Foundation. Dirty floors has not lost its appeal. Children graduating from the school does not receive a financial education. And one day, lost sleep, deep in debt, living somewhere in the slums, but not parted with the American Dream, they decide that the answer to their financial problems is to find a way to get rich quick. And they begin to build a skyscraper. Construction goes quickly, but soon instead of "Empire state building", the light appears a tower that might fall over. Sleepless nights are back.

There is a difference between being poor and being ruined. The devastation is temporary, but poverty is a constant phenomenon.
