It was raining.
It was one of those rains when the water pours so much that it feels like someone is taking a shower. The rain stirs a lot of thoughts about God's punishment, the flood and the ark. This rain makes you want to crawl back into bed, where the sheets are still keep your body heat, and pretend that the alarm clock rang early.
Ask any child who has finished the fourth grade, and he will tell you that the water never stops moving. It rains, then the water falls into the river. The rivers flow into the ocean. From there the water evaporates and as a soul rises to heaven. And then, like everything else in this world, the process is repeated again.
