You need to learn how to cultivate a state of confidence. The audience does not perceive the speech of an insecure speaker. The public has a thirst to see a strong and confident person in front of them. Every public needs a leader. People are like a large pack, they unconsciously need a leader.

The audience should get the impression that there are many more interesting things you can tell, but there is simply not enough time. You must leave in the hearts of your listeners the desire to meet you again.

There are a number of speakers who pre-write down their text on paper, and then read it. This is the lowest level of oratory. Even if you need to read your text from a sheet, still rehearse your speech.

If you talk about what you have not studied well enough, you will create an image of an uninteresting speaker. In addition, your gaps in knowledge will begin to treacherously affect your demeanor in public. Chances are you'll say stupid things and get lost often.

It is worth taking into account that the orator is not an actor, he does not play a role and does not use theatrical scenery, he shows various objects, people and life events with his gestures.

One of the main secrets of public speaking is that you don't have to speak in front of the audience. The audience wants a simple and sincere conversation, and the speaker's job is to give it to them.

Most of all, the audience praises someone who is at the same time an object of admiration, respect and compassion.

The audience adds strength to an honest and sincere speaker.

You can speak in the office at meetings, you can at the festive table, and you can queue at the market. You can perform everywhere, as long as there was an audience!

You can admit to the public any of your weaknesses. For example, you have lost a thought or missed the essence of the issue, do not hesitate to ask the audience to remind you where you stopped.

Anyone who is unable to move up the career ladder can wonder - can he speak in public? And if not, then perhaps this is one of the reasons why he does not move up these stairs.

The modern "writer-artist", who gives types and dissociates himself with some specialty in literature (well, to expose merchants, men, etc.), usually walks all his life with a pencil and a notebook, eavesdrops and writes down characteristic words; ends up picking up a few hundred numbers of characteristic words. Then the novel begins, and a little bit of a merchant or a cleric will speak to him, he begins to pick up his speech from the notebook according to the recorded. Readers laugh and praise, and, it would seem, true: literally from nature is recorded, but it turns out that it is worse than a lie, precisely because the merchant or soldiers in the novel speak in essences, that is, as never before, no merchant and no soldier speaks in kind. He, for example, in nature will say such and such, recorded by you from him phrase, from ten phrases to the eleventh. The eleventh word is characteristic and ugly, and ten words before that nothing, like all people. And in the typist-artist, he speaks in characteristics completely, according to the recorded, and it turns out to be untrue. The derived type speaks as if from a book. The audience praises, but you do not inflate an experienced old writer.
