Fear owns us, just as we believe in the danger. Fear owns us only as long as we are afraid. And death is nothing to fear. Not "no need", namely "impossible", "impossible". We know nothing about death. We know that we will not be able to continue their former existence. But so what? Why is that so terrible?!
We fear assuming the worst? But why don't we think about death differently? For example, how about the new birth? We have thought up to themselves the danger. With equal success we could think and joy. It is our choice. And I say atheist, materialist, and God knows what a bore! Even I say so! How can you fear death those who claim to believe in God, in the afterlife?! How?! Explain to me!

Many years ago I came to my Teacher. I was young and stupid as you are now. I was only seventeen years old, and I was a sufferer exhausted and angry at life. Then my Teacher was seventy, and he was laughing for no apparent reason. I asked him: "How do You do it?" And he answered: "I am free in my choice. And that's my choice. Everything that happens to a person is only events. How to treat them, how to interpret these events - he decides for himself. He can see "problems" in all that happens to him, and suffer. But he always has a choice, he may think about it differently.

But electricity, for example, is no less dangerous than the height. And yet, to be handled carefully with socket and wires, we have to give yourself the instruction: "Caution! It could be dangerous!" Because panic - learned, artificial.
Sitting next to an outlet, you won't panic. You probably won't even notice it, but if you need it, will have to search long. But sitting next to the cliff, at the height of the catcher, you will always feel her presence.
And with the truth. It can be learned, understood, lifeless. Maybe in the us.

People live driven by their desires. Without desires there is no life. All they're doing is for the sake of certain desired objectives. They want pleasure, love, knowledge, money, fame. And they think that their life has meaning. But what? The answer is no. There is only desire, and it gives a person strength to live.
