We visit some cities because this is our desire; other cities we visit because this is their desire.

People could learn a lot from animals. If they, like animals, did not know the bitter memories of the past and exhausting anxieties about the future, if they gave up cunning and lies, this world would become happy and serene.

Human life is a series of unfulfilled possibilities. God constantly confronts man with a choice, opening before him ways that he cannot use.
