The passionate desire to know the transcendent, the eternal, we opposed the lies of the momentary and superficial. Idealism, the soul of being, was taken away from us.

What is what we call idealism? This is nothing more than an understanding of the seriousness of the problem of reality: not a primitive world exists, because it exists, but an attempt by the mind to make sure that something exists that cannot be proved within the framework of consciousness.

Normality is also overestimated.

You still rely too much on external perception.
To see, to hear, to touch. All of this is overestimated.

Idealism is a disease, because it ascribes to the world the existence of something transcendental, eternal, unchanging, immutable, that is, with all its properties attributed to this fluid, changeable world of physical bodies.

Don't look for an ideal world, there is none on earth. Beauty coexists with ugliness, sincerity with hypocrisy, recognition with oblivion.

My son is an idealist, out of these great leaders, but good rulers, ever.

Paradox: idealism is alien to someone who lives topicality and expediency, and living versatility global ideas alien to idealism.

Why are some rich and others poor? Because some stole from others. They are rich because they stole. They are smart, talented, hardworking... thieves. This is not idealism. A materialistic answer. Because you can always vechicles: how, by whom, when and from whom stolen. The object of theft, and therefore a source of wealth is the unpaid labor and deceived consumers. Want to get rich - think at whose expense.

That is civilized life, it is not an attempt to cram imperfect people in an unnatural frame, invented by people equally imperfect?

If you are under the ideal to choose no one can and on you for this offense is the perfect arrogance.

Illusion defined, the dispersion of which we see today in Ukraine, another type of illusion, it was typical for me and for my friends... Illusions, not even associated with Russian spring, Donbass is not a story, and illusions that are associated with the fact that... I had a feeling that truth, honesty, dignity - always wins. I before forty years were here in this wonderful feeling that good must win. And when I started writing this book, I came up with is very simple and banal idea that idealists have to beat the person on the table. And my life hit my face on the table. This is a huge cemetery in the Donbas killed my comrades, who seemed to be the best people on earth, which seemed to me give hope for other life in Russia, modification of the situation, that what I want to write poetry and sing songs. They were all killed. They lie dead. I was left alone. I look at it in deep sorrow. And so I wrote about this book that I have lived to see forty-three years and I lost. Although Russian spring left the Donbass anyway we won and never surrender, but the feeling is bitter to me.
