Stalingrad is not only Stalin's city. This is a symbol of Russia. Symbols cannot be misinterpreted.

The sun, moon and earth look like a circle, planets in space revolve in a circle, the wheel is round, as are the dome of the church and the wedding ring. The circle is a symbol of the soul: even Plato called it a sphere, and Mariana agreed with him. Life is also a circle, isn't it? From birth to death.

The favorite and most important elements of my painting were the following eight: 1) architecture, for its certainty, contrast, clarity and constructiveness; 2) snow, for its exceptional purity and sensitivity to all light influences; 3) the sky, for the maximum space to the movements of the brush and the combination of the dynamics of the spots presented by him; 4) light, for its inherent enchanting powers; 5) space, for its ability to transform, generalize and absorb everything tangible, for its reduction to one denominator of all that is visible; 6) movement, for the living nerve communicated by it, for its organic connection with the movement of the whole element; 7) the sun, as an invariable patron of painting, as a source of light and colors, and in fact, almost the only theme of the painter; 8) the body, as the most sensual and subtle material, as a symbol of the most picturesque plasticity, picturesque sensuality.

The number eight is a symbol of Eternity, an endless ribbon of Mobius with an eternal return to the regularity of all sorts of accidents.

British! Never again will a father go against his son, and brother against brother. From that moment on, on this land, which had been torn to pieces for so long that it became the object of ridicule for all peoples, there will no longer be Lancaster or Yorks. There are only Englishmen. Let us now, when the first symbol of the arrival of new and better times has appeared, let us bandage each other's wounds and give honors to those who fell in this unfortunate struggle.

Our souls are immortal and this sun in heaven is a hereditary symbol of the stars, each of our actions has its own clot of star formation and the more living light in it, the more worthy our step is.

It seemed to me that to say "thank you" was a sign of deep politeness, great respect. It was pleasant for me to say "thank you", because they said it to me too. Thanks for the bandaging, thanks for the sleeping pill, for the cream to keep the skin from tearing, for lunch and especially for the chocolate. I ate whole bars of chocolate ... It was so delicious, so delicious.

Philosophy is the world. But the world is subjective, personal, confessional. There is no philosophy that would be recognized by everyone. If life is a struggle, then wisdom is its image, symbol, spiritual emblem.

May 9 is not just Victory Day, it is a symbol of fearlessness, cohesion and love for the Motherland!
