Freedom, beautiful human freedom, is not at all the same as social freedom, which, for example, the French achieved, apparent freedom. Freedom, as I understand it, is the kingdom of the spirit, a high, perfect sense of well-being, consciousness of oneself, one’s soul - the son of the infinite universe - the favorite of the main central force - the Creator. You can be free in appearance and a base slave in mind, in spirit, have limited, petty-bourgeois interests, and you can be chained in iron chains and be free in mind, in self-awareness - to be the king of thought.

I don’t want anyone to decide my future for me, to determine in which direction I should develop. I'll try to get to this point on my own. This is what I understand by the word freedom.

I couldn't sleep... Things were going badly and threatened to get worse. Sooner or later, the truth will emerge, and then not only Vinci and the Chinese, but also Falcone will take up arms against us. This is not how I envisioned it when we started. I dreamed of money, cars, women, respect, freedom. I even got all this, more or less, but at the same time came prison, constant fear and the blood of my comrades. I kept afloat as long as I could, but the chances were getting smaller. Now it was only a matter of time...

Free is only its price!

Deprive me of my head so that when I die, I may meet my brothers again. Aren't people born to be free? Aren't we free to think without limits, without fear of discussing anything aloud? Believe in anything, love anyone, be anyone ... When you were with me, I was indescribably happy. I never stopped thinking about the times when we could live together without any worries, but in the end it turned out to be just a naive dream. I, too, like narcissists, are full of pretentiousness. The world is not yet ready for people like us.
