They should then impose sanctions against Saudi Arabia, against France. But they are silent. It's not messianic. This is the usual quiet and calm universal handbac. So when they start talking to you about democracy and human rights, check your pockets. Most likely, they are trying to rob you.

The reign of permanent peace, prosperity, harmony, general security, etc. on earth, that is, exactly what democratic progress has set itself so unsuccessfully, would be the greatest disaster.

Because in the current situation, as soon as you start talking about democracy, you say the word democracy, you immediately get into their system of measuring what democracy is, what non-democracy is, what is right democracy, when it is enough or insufficient. It so happened that the West built a system of argumentation, arrogated to itself the right to determine where it is and where it is not. What can be done in this situation? You can rethink these things in your terminology. To form your own model through your own language, your own approaches to both economy and democracy,

In my opinion, we (in Russia) have a more democratic society than in America. And there are many examples of this. We have a president elected. Elected by the overwhelming majority of our population. No matter what the opposition says. What can not be said about the president of America.

The people elect the president. And the people trust the president. Not that narrow cohort that you, IM, are trying to protect. And this is called the rule of the people. And what you, IM, are trying to suggest, is a cunning system of elite agreements. And the main thing is that in your definition of democracy you move away from the main question: is democracy an end or a means? And if you don't answer this question, you will never come to the truth. And you will be dragged along in the wagon train of Western political thought.
