Every Good Friday is followed by good news.

Most foreign governments make the mistake of thinking they are dealing with an ordinary state. For Iranian leaders, national interests mean nothing, and, accordingly, economic sanctions will be ineffective. From the point of view of modern Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon or Hamas in Palestine are much more important than the interests of Sunnis or other minorities in Iran.

Western sanctions - the devil's "holy" total war!

I have been saying for a long time that if we tighten the screws at the same pace as our former Western partners do, then the screws will soon run out.

I agree that economic war is absolutely inevitable. Another thing is what kind of war it will be. Nowadays, I no longer believe that there will be a large-scale hot war like World War II. And I don't believe there will be a long Cold War. The war will be of the third type - it will be cyber war.

- Yes, we proceed from this, because we have never begun to deteriorate our relations either with NATO, or with the European Union, or with any other country in the West or any other region of the world. Everyone knows this story well. And when Saakashvili gave the criminal order to bomb Tskhenval and the positions of the Russian peacekeepers in August 2008, Russia insisted on convening a NATO Council of Russia to consider the situation. The then Secretary of State, Candolisa Rice, flatly refused. Although, when creating the Council of Russia, NATO was especially emphasized in the fundamental act that it must act in any weather. And especially should gather in crisis situations. This example marked the beginning of the current state of affairs in relations between Russia and NATO. This continued when the Americans provoked and supported the coup in Ukraine in February 2014, and the European Union swallowed the actions of the opposition, although on the eve of this coup, Germany, France, Poland, with their signatures, guaranteed an agreement between the then President Yanukovych and the opposition. And in the morning the opposition trampled on all these guarantees of the European Union and did it in its own way. And for this, the European Union imposed sanctions against Russia. You see, there is no need to look for logic here. The same is true with regard to the assessments that are being heard from NATO capitals about our forced retaliatory step. Moreover, our reciprocal step is three steps by NATO. Because our representation was cut three times. And most importantly, we are simply not allowed to work there. It was officially said that all contacts between the military were cut off. Then what kind of loss of opportunities for dialogue are we talking about? We proposed two years ago through the mouth of the chief of the gene. of the headquarters of the armed forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov to agree on the withdrawal of exercises at a certain distance from the contact line between Russia and NATO, to agree on the minimum distances that should not be violated by combat aircraft and warships. And much more has been suggested. Just a wall of silence. And when the minister in. Affairs of Germany said today that by its step Russia shows that it is not ready for negotiations. I just told you how we were ready to negotiate. And how NATO has been ignoring us for more than one year. In such statements and assessments of Western representatives, there is an understanding of the loss of their position, and the desire to blame someone else and the lack of diplomatic culture.

If the idea of democracy is messianic, then as they now condemn Belarus for violating human rights, they should have condemned and introduced the same measures in Turkey, after Erdogan arranged such an opposition... They should then impose sanctions against Saudi Arabia, against France. But they are silent. It's not messianic. This is the usual quiet and calm universal handbac. So when they start talking to you about democracy and human rights, check your pockets. Most likely, they are trying to rob you.

You mentioned disagreements. We have no disagreements with the United States. They have only one disagreement - they want to restrain our development. And they talk about it publicly. Everything else is a derivative of this position. Everything - and restrictions in the sphere of economy, and attempts to influence the internal political processes in our country, relying on the forces that they consider their own inside Russia. That's actually the whole story.
Did we impose sanctions against the United States? The United States has imposed sanctions against us and continues to impose sanctions. For every occasion and no reason at all. Only because we exist. But you'll have to put up with it. Russia is, has been and will be.

Now unilateral non-legitimate sanctions are being multiplied against our country, which are launched on the basis of arbitrary attribution, at the discretion of the European Union. Dialogue based on facts is preferred to unfounded accusations in the spirit of Highly likely and the presumption of innocence has been replaced by a presumption of guilt. Just by definition. Even now, our British colleague recently said that what happened in Belarus could not have happened without Moscow's knowledge. So this mentality continues to apply to all situations. And in general, there is interference in the internal affairs of Russia and the states allied to us. Apparently, this is what the rules-based order on which the West increasingly wants to rely, departing from the universal norms of international law, should look like. In fact, according to our assessment, the entire policy of the European Union in the Russian direction is linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which require, among other things, a direct dialogue between Kiev and Donetsk and Lugansk, and which the Ukrainian leadership openly sabotages with the support of Brussels. Let me remind you that President Zelensky bluntly stated that we do not like the Minsk agreements, but we want them to remain in force, because as long as they are in force, sanctions against Russia will remain. That is, the European Union now essentially agrees that the unity of Ukraine, peace in the Donbass is sacrificed by Kiev to the preservation of anti-Russian sanctions. We know. that there are many in Europe who are aware of the counter-productivity of such a course against our country, and we hope that common sense will eventually prevail and we will be able to begin to develop a new balanced model of relations based on the principles of international law. Russia is invariably open to such equal and honest cooperation. This does not mean that we will leave without reaction new unfriendly steps, attempts to talk from a position of strength, interference in internal affairs. Such attempts are being prepared, and this is already being openly discussed. But the answer is sure to follow.

I read reports that the (US) administration has completed a review of Russia's hostile actions. Somehow she did it very quickly. Because usually we are accused of so many sins that in a couple of weeks, or even in a couple of months, you can't do it. But they decided. Probably, they will punish us in other forms as well. I heard here that they apparently did not participate in the open skies agreement, their hands were untied, the employees were freed, and they were assigning specials. a representative on the termination of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project. It will just drive and threaten everyone. Such is diplomacy. Diplomacy is no longer even a gunboat, but new sanctions instruments. But this line is getting more and more criticism in the United States. Even such a pro-Washington structure as the Atlantic Council, a non-governmental organization, already publishes materials criticizing the absolutely stalemate of the United States with respect to Russia, maybe even a stupid one, which does not bring any result in terms of the goals that were announced when the sanctions were introduced. ... This situation was repeated many times. These actions convince us of only one thing: we must rely on ourselves. Because the United States, its allies, are unreliable partners. And in key areas for the life support of the state, we cannot rely on their mood and on what foot they get up from in the morning. We hear some statements from the State Department that there will be sanctions, but the United States is interested in predictable and stable relations with Russia. The words sound unconvincing. We will wait for concrete cases.

The Ministry of Economic Development needs not to calculate the damage from restrictive measures, but to deal with itself - the Russian economy. For example, to direct oil revenues to the budget, and not to the “gasket” company. Then we may not even notice that the West is imposing sanctions on us.

As for the American establishment ... its consciousness took shape in well-known and rather difficult conditions. After all, the development of the American continent by the Europeans was associated with the extermination of the local population. With genocide, as they say today. Direct genocide of Indian tribes. Then followed a big, hard, difficult period of slavery, slavery. Very cruel. And all this goes through history to the present day, accompanying the life of America. Otherwise, where would the Black Lives Matter movement come from? Until now, African Americans face injustice and extermination. Guided by such considerations, America's ruling classes solve both domestic and foreign policy problems. After all, the United States is the only country in the world that has used nuclear atomic weapons, moreover, against a non-nuclear state. Against Japan. At the end of World War II. Against Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There was absolutely no military sense in this. This was a direct extermination of the civilian population. Why am I talking about this? Because I know that the United States as a whole is determined to have certain relations with us, but on those issues that are of interest to the United States itself. And on their terms. Although I do not think that we are the same as them, but we are different people, we have a different genetic and cultural moral code. But we know how to defend our own interests. And we will work with them. But only in those areas in which we ourselves are interested. And on the terms that we consider beneficial for ourselves. And they will have to reckon with it. Despite all their attempts to stop our development, sanctions, insults, they will have to reckon with this. Well, we, keeping in mind our national interests, will develop relations with all countries of the world, including the United States. Like this, in general terms.

Now I understand why America is introducing new sanctions, They just forget about the old ones. They do not remember which sanctions were introduced and which were not.
