Do citizens have the right to have an opinion different from the state? Of course they have. Does everyone like fighting? No. But there should be a clear gradation: I don’t agree - I’m sitting at home and I don’t agree, but no one cares about me; I do not agree and express my disagreement in social networks, I am against the fact that hostilities were going on and people were being killed. I think that the war should be stopped immediately. Voting for the recognition of the DNR/LNR, I voted for peace, not for war. For Russia to become a shield, so that Donbass is not bombed, and not for Kyiv being bombed.

The entire infrastructure of civilized life should not be taken for granted. It is made by people and can be destroyed. Therefore, while Carpe diem - "seize the day." If you have the opportunity to speak, speak. Be silent in the grave. As long as you have the opportunity to do something that you consider important - do it. There are absolutely no guarantees that these opportunities will last in any way.

We decided to release this song now because it reflects exactly how we feel. We are with the Ukrainians with all our hearts. No war.

We are against war. We ask, appeal and demand to stop hostilities in Ukraine. There is nothing more valuable than human life. For fifteen years, our foundation has been living under this motto and saving children. During this time we have helped seventy thousand patients. Each saved child is months and years of work for adults: parents, doctors, fund employees and volunteers. It pains us to realize that in a brotherly country, children and adults can die just like that - not from a long illness, but from a bullet or a fragment of a rocket explosion. Stop, stop the war.

Almost every Russian in Ukraine has either a friend, at least one, or an acquaintance, or a relative. And now we're shooting at them. What is going on? Stop this madness immediately. By all means.

As a mother, in case of any shocks, I can only think about children. These days my heart and thoughts are with mothers and women who have already been touched and can still be touched by what is happening in Ukraine, I think only about them and their children. Alone, of course, I cannot help everyone, but together we can do very, very much.

In recent years, I worked in Ukraine and got to know its inhabitants - proud and strong. I am in complete solidarity with them on this incredible day. The attack of Ukraine is an attack of all of us, an attack of humanity. She must stop.

I condemn the invasion and bombardment of a sovereign state. This is a war that will change everyone's life forever, no matter where you live. Everything familiar that we have already ceased to appreciate will become only a memory for us. Therefore, it is never too late if millions do not want war. Peace to Ukraine!

When I woke up and read all this news, I was just in shock. It's terrible to see what's happening. We have a race scheduled in Russia [in Sochi for this season's Russian Grand Prix]. But I decided for myself that I should not go there, and I will not go. Racing in this country is wrong. I feel sorry for the innocent people who are dying, who are being killed for stupid reasons and because of very strange and insane leadership.
