People are devastated when they are being deceived by the enemy or betraying friends, but they often feel pleasure when deceive or betray themselves.

Your every word is
The waves in my sea.
Every gesture of yours, ignore
Dries my ocean.
This is not new,
This is not grief.
I climb into the hole,
Deeper into self-deception -
Frost-injured and silent,
Crooked and dumb...
It is foolish to escape in the cold

I don't look at hearing pessimistic but self-deception is not good.

You can't take part of the truth: open your eyes and accept the truth as a whole.

With pleasure I plunged into another self-deception, hoping that this time things will be different. People generally love to deceive ourselves, because it numbs the pain.
