Frere closed his eyes. The pain under the eyelid did not subside. He did not pay attention to her, convinced of her psychosomatic nature. For days on end, he was engaged in the fact that he treated mental disorders, and he knew well that they always manifest themselves in bodily ailments. Why should his own body behave differently?

People need ears to listen.

Each of us has a huge number of problems in life. Life is a complicated thing. Why give people around you additional problems, merging your own negativity? There are special people for all this. Don't try to fight everything in life on your own. Don't try to win all wars. There are specialists for this, do not hesitate to contact them.

Intelligence is not measured by IQ tests. It is not measured by how much unnecessary information you are able to collect, like such a very stupid, sprinkled walking Wikipedia, which is in complete ruin in life. The mind is not the first and second, it is how you are able to clearly and distinctly see and register every thing that happens inside you.

When you feel that from some side you are blown by the north wind, any heat seems many times more beautiful and necessary. than it really is.

Not knowing the answers to exciting questions does something to people. Something scary.

Sometimes we want something so intolerably that we begin to pass off what we wish for an already accomplished fact.

Mr. Roth complains of a recent acute acrophobia.
He is middle-aged, physically healthy, previously there were no psychiatric problems.
He has no living relatives, but many friends from whom he seeks support.
He has the right speech, good posture. In the waiting room he sat quietly, not trying to occupy himself with something. But I noticed that he whistled perfectly.
He knows how to present himself, but there are signs of a disadvantaged, narcissistic person.
He says that he easily copes with conflicts and troubles, but... I'm not sure that's true. Overall, a lot of what he wanted to convince me of doesn't match what my intuition says. Although I can't specify exactly how this is characterized from a clinical point of view.
I feel something dark and deceptive about his emotions. However, it is absolutely clear that he does suffer from a phobia. Whether it's a fear of heights or something else, we'll find out later.
