The law of progress, or perfection, is written in the soul of every man, and only as a result of error is it transferred to history. Remaining personal, this law is fruitful and accessible to everyone; transferred to history, it becomes idle, empty chatter, leading to the justification of every nonsense and fatalism.

It's great when women have the right to education, to manifest themselves in the public and political life of society, to professional realization. This is certainly a huge progress of mankind. It is bad that these rights have been obtained and used not only for the benefit of women, but also to spite men.

Progress is not about replacing the wrong theory with the right one. It consists in replacing an incorrect theory with one that is incorrect in a more subtle way.
