I live! I am infinitely happy! Life is the greatest gift. Thank you for allowing me to have another day with those I love with all my heart.

Our path should be before God, and not before people. If we are pure, if we are right before God, who among people can discredit us, brand our name with a stain?

We live in the absurd confidence that we ourselves are the masters of our lives, that it is given to us for our enjoyment, but this is obviously absurd. After all, if we were sent here, it was by someone’s will and for something. But we decided that we live only for our own joy, and it is clear that we feel bad, just as it would feel bad for a worker who does not fulfill the will of the owner. The will of the owner is expressed in these commandments. Just fulfill these commandments, and the kingdom of God will be established on earth, and people will receive the greatest benefit that is available to them.

Meaning emerged from nonsense, like God from the void.

Live not as you want, but as God commands. And you see your powerlessness so well in all this, self-reproach arises so easily, and humility follows closely behind it. And the only hope remains in the Grace of God. And this is exactly what is needed.

What was my whole dissolute life for? To understand all this, to understand the whole business of the owner, is not in my power. But to do his will, written in my conscience, is in my power, and I know this beyond doubt.

Happy is the one who sees his mistakes and goes over in his thoughts all the things he has done precisely in order to find mistakes in them: he will achieve perfection and succeed in everything. Woe to the one who is self-confident and does not consider his previous actions in the conviction that they are all smart: he will never gain intelligence, and God will abandon him.

When you are in fantasy, you are God.
