It turns out - he deceived the expectations of a trusting woman. As it is in Scripture: “Each one give according to the disposition of his heart, not with chagrin and not with compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

I did not expect anything good and was sure that I would not succeed, but the result exceeded all my expectations - it was a victory!

Modern humanity must ask itself the question: does not it threaten with its arrogance and short-sightedness the aspirations of its ancestors and the expectations of its descendants?

Autumn takes people apart into millions of pieces, like a puzzle. Breaking their expectations, illusions, stereotypes. So that they can reassemble themselves.

It sometimes happens in life: you do good to people and they seem to accept it with gratitude, open your soul - pretend to understand your feelings, give trust and give your heart - they say that they will carefully keep it and do everything to don't hurt. And then they deceive your expectations, betray and disappoint, showing their true colors.

Mercantile people often abused my trust. They used my kindness for their own purposes. They caused heartache. Deceived expectations and hopes. They wiped their feet on the most precious thing. They spat in my soul and betrayed. But I did not give up and overcame all the difficulties and hardships. Without perseverance and hope for the best, I would not have made it. That's for sure!

The truth of life, which cannot be called nonsense: it is not difficult to use a person in your own interests, just as it is to laugh at his feelings. It is not difficult to deceive expectations and hopes, it is not difficult to betray and refuse obligations. But to change for the better, to stop being hypocritical, mercantile, dishonorable, vile - requires great diligence. But it is necessary if you want to respect yourself.

Summer makes the final push, raising our expectations to the maximum. We are pedaling faster and faster without fear of breaking our knees. We overeat with juicy berries, staining our satisfied mouths and clean T-shirts with them. We don't want to believe that the summer days are already getting shorter, and we try to delay the sunset without taking our eyes off the milky horizon. We are waiting for autumn with understanding, but we absolutely do not want to miss a single intoxicating August day.
