close relationships. But we stubbornly continue to consider healthy people who do not need others. It is especially dangerous today. The feeling of community and belonging to a certain close circle is undermined daily by the endless desire to do as much as possible in the shortest possible time and to fill one's life with material wealth to the eyeballs.

It turns out that fundamentalists, creationists, and other Christians were right. Oh, how I wish I could tell my parents: Kansas was right. Yes, these snake-holders and Pentecostals, sectarians degenerated from closely related marriages, turned out to be cooler than my mom and dad - billionaires and secular humanists. The dark forces of evil have indeed scattered dinosaur bones everywhere and forged excavation reports to mislead humanity. Evolution is complete nonsense, in which we unconditionally believed.

These are the laws of survival. Either you cope with all the difficulties, or you are eaten by a predator. If evolution protected the weak, we would have died out long ago.

Evolutionary ethics explains, but does not justify, our innate tendencies. Fortunately, evolution has also given man a mind, and therefore we can and must rise above our biological roots and revise the outdated ethical framework that evolution imposed on our ancestors. What is appropriate for the propagation of genes in Stone Age hunters is not suitable for a thinking civilized being. Evolutionary ethics warns us that we have an innate tendency to divide people into ours and strangers, and to feel disgust and dislike for strangers. We, as intelligent beings, must understand and overcome this.

- Which ones are these blacks? The usual tunnel dishonor.
- Even when you don't see the Blacks around, they're still there, you think about them, you're afraid of them. Fear is their weapon. Other tunnel reptiles run away from them like rats. Blacks are not just mutants - this is "homotomus" the next stage of evolution, the strongest survives you know? So it's not about us.
- Yes, what happened to you, you are like cattle who are led to the slaughterhouse, and I will cling to life. Until the last. I got it? And when I go to hell. I'll take with me these "homonuses" of yours.
- Go and look!! I have a dozen proven fighters in the hospital, drooling and muttering nonsense, even gutting my soul.

- Okay. The thesis that men are the missing link in the evolution between us and monkeys has been proven.

This collective work is devoted to little-studied issues of the ecology of forced labor used in the Gulag in the 1930s-1950s. The authors (historians from Russia, Great Britain, Germany and the Usa) base their research on large amounts of documents from the previously secret archival funds of soviet punitive agencies - the OGPU, the NKVD, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. The first part deals with the general issues of forced labor in the USSR in the 1930s - 1950s, the scale and structure of the camp economy, the evolution of its management system. The special methods of combining coercion and stimulation of labor of the gulag prisoners are shown, the phenomenon of corruption in the system of camps is considered. In the second part of the book, the economics of the Gulag are explored in regional and sectoral dimensions. Here, the focus is on the use of forced labor in those areas of the country where the Gulag workforce played the most important role (in the Far East, in the Arctic, in Karelia, as well as in Siberia and the Urals). The authors examine the organization of forced labor, its productivity and the degree of efficiency on the archival material of the largest objects of the Gulag, including the White Sea Canal, the Norilsk Nickel Committee, Dalstroy (magadan's gold mines), as well as in the rural economy and logging operations. Archival data on the work of prisoners of war and special settlers are also involved.
Quote Explanation: The book is intended both for specialists in the economic and social history of the USSR and for a wide readership who wants to understand - on the basis of extensive documentary material - the complex and tragic history of the use of forced labor in our country in the 1930s - 1950s.

The highest ideals of mankind become dangerous, turning into dogmas. As if anticipating the evolution of humanism into inhumanity (I mean communist practice), Nietzsche accused the teachers of mankind of expansionism - the appropriation of the unconditional right to truth.

The further the spiritual evolution of mankind progresses, the more obvious it seems to me that the path to true religiosity lies not through the fear of life, the fear of death, or blind faith, but through the pursuit of rational knowledge.
