It is an attempt to go against this descending tendency to doom. That is why it requires completely different efforts. Because it is natural for a person to strive for evil. And capitalism opens all roads for this. Calling it competition, absolute egoism, an absolute form of corruption and perversion, indulgence. And the model that they tried to build in our country, and initially, from the time of the Orthodox Empire, was just an ascending one, what S. Ye. Kurginyan is talking about. About climbing. Therefore, it requires other efforts, but also a more complex design. The way down is always easy. The way up is always difficult.

We are an empire. And we keep that. We are not global like America, but a world empire. Russia has never claimed to be a global empire. Russia has always claimed the part called Eurasia. As a Eurasianist and Gumilevets, I believe that it is necessary to include the first empire - the horde, which created the first empire on the territory of our country. And the inner meaning of all empires is the development of a huge and very difficult space, which we got as our homeland. And the peoples understood that it was necessary to unite in order to survive.

President Putin shared some historical knowledge (in a conversation with the editors of the news agency) about the forms of imperial existence. He said that, as a citizen of the Soviet Union, he knows for sure that at some point in imperial life, the confidence arises that all problems are solved, and very quickly either by purchase or by threat. But it turns out that there are so many of these problems that it was an illusion that they are being solved. And we remember this from the Soviet Union. And President Putin said such a tough thing. America is fully in this phase of its historical and imperial development, and that the number of America's problems exceeds the possibilities of the standard solutions to which the empire is accustomed.

In my opinion, we (in Russia) have a more democratic society than in America. And there are many examples of this. We have a president elected. Elected by the overwhelming majority of our population. No matter what the opposition says. What can not be said about the president of America.

The people elect the president. And the people trust the president. Not that narrow cohort that you, IM, are trying to protect. And this is called the rule of the people. Because if no one elected the president, but he is elected directly, therefore, it is the president who is endowed with all the power. And the president every time, going to the elections, receives confirmation of his mandate. And this is called democracy. And what you, IM, are trying to suggest, is a cunning system of elite agreements. And the main thing is that in your definition of democracy you move away from the main question: is democracy an end or a means? And if you don't answer this question, you will never come to the truth. And you will be dragged along in the wagon train of Western political thought.

V.V. Putin - he has never been Nicholas II. Fortunately. He doesn't get involved in anything that he doesn't want to get involved in. For 20 years, he has never been involved in anything that he would not consider useful for the country. Sometimes it seems: this is how it is being pulled in, now it will be drawn in. Now unilateral non-legitimate sanctions are being multiplied against our country, which are launched on the basis of arbitrary attribution, at the discretion of the European Union. Dialogue based on facts is preferred to unfounded accusations in the spirit of Highly likely and the presumption of innocence has been replaced by a presumption of guilt. Just by definition. Even now, our British colleague recently said that what happened in Belarus could not have happened without Moscow's knowledge. So this mentality continues to apply to all situations. And in general, there is interference in the internal affairs of Russia and the states allied to us. Apparently, this is what the rules-based order on which the West increasingly wants to rely, departing from the universal norms of international law, should look like. In fact, according to our assessment, the entire policy of the European Union in the Russian direction is linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which require, among other things, a direct dialogue between Kiev and Donetsk and Lugansk, and which the Ukrainian leadership openly sabotages with the support of Brussels. Let me remind you that President Zelensky bluntly stated that we do not like the Minsk agreements, but we want them to remain in force, because as long as they are in force, sanctions against Russia will remain. That is, the European Union now essentially agrees that the unity of Ukraine, peace in the Donbass is sacrificed by Kiev to the preservation of anti-Russian sanctions. We know. that there are many in Europe who are aware of the counter-productivity of such a course against our country, and we hope that common sense will eventually prevail and we will be able to begin to develop a new balanced model of relations based on the principles of international law. Russia is invariably open to such equal and honest cooperation. This does not mean that we will leave without reaction new unfriendly steps, attempts to talk from a position of strength, interference in internal affairs. Such attempts are being prepared, and this is already being openly discussed. But the answer is sure to follow.

The world is full of cryers, complainers. But the fact remains that life does not give us a guarantee. I don't care who you are: the Pope, the President of the States, the Man of the Year... Most importantly, don't. Even if things go wrong, don't cry, don't ask for help. In Russia, however, everything is somewhat different. There you will cry - everyone will feel sorry for you. It's different here. Texas is Texas. Here you are left to yourself - just like blood.
