Philister (Philister from German - “Philistine”) is a contemptuous name for a person with narrow views, devoted to routine; a smug philistine, an ignorant layman, distinguished by hypocritical, sanctimonious behavior. Schopenhauer defined a philistine as a person without spiritual, that is, intellectual needs, as one who has no aspirations for knowledge and understanding, who does not receive aesthetic pleasure from art, and has only physical needs.

Society is well aware of this problem and therefore punishes in every possible way for immoral or antisocial behavior. Rejection by society and, in extreme cases, imprisonment could have long ago discouraged people from breaking the law, but in practice this does not happen, since people adhere to morality not thanks to Nature, but because of ethical norms, which are only a social inoculation for them, and not part of their inner essence. Moreover, these norms of behavior are nothing more than rules that are considered accepted in a certain society and vary greatly depending on place or constantly change over time.

Although it is true that everyone strives for good, vice and perversity are much more common than we would like, because man in the ordinary state is not an ethical being, since he usually seeks the path of least resistance. Unfortunately, most people are more comfortable “doing to others as they would not want to be done to them.” Often the temptation to quickly and easily achieve what you want takes precedence over prudence and correct behavior.

A person does not have strong moral foundations; his behavior is subordinated to selfish interests, passionate desires and momentary illusory good. In search of happiness and goodness, he takes the apparent for reality and too often goes astray, falling into sin and corruption. Neither religious nor moral censures are able to restrain him. This happens because no one really understands what is good and what is bad, what is fair and what is not.

If we ignore the problems and tasks that the Universe presents to us, then running in a closed circle will become a familiar sport, and the finishing point, one way or another, will always coincide with the starting point. Life lessons need to be lived and resolved in a quality manner, and not huddled in the fifth corner pretending to be deaf-blind. Such behavior will only ultimately lead to the same lesson, but, most likely, with more complex conditions in the task. This will already be a problem with an asterisk, remember like at school? The lesson must be lived - this means not running away, not ignoring, not copying off other people’s decisions, but lingering in these sensations and understanding why this lesson was given. You need to live your feelings as strongly as possible, and most importantly, absolutely honestly. The people the Universe confronts us with are a mirror of our problem. Ours. And you are not discussing with him at all, but with yourself. Look at what you are closing your eyes to. This way you can understand what exactly your lesson is.

Cognitive flexibility is a skill that allows a person to quickly adapt to change, switch between tasks without loss of productivity, make quick decisions and make fewer mistakes. In other words, this can be called the ability of our brain to adapt thinking and behavior to changing conditions and new situations.

Don't think that by caring for a narcissist, by sharing something with a narcissist, you can somehow change their thinking or state of mind. You can not. Because this isn't about you. We are talking about the inner world inhabited by avatars. This is a paracosm, an alternate reality in which a narcissist writes movie scripts.

Contrary to popular belief, Oedipus has nothing in common with the complex named after him. On the contrary, getting acquainted with Oedipus’s early childhood, we understand that the cause of his tragedy was the incorrect behavior of his parents.

Manic delusional disorder. In this case, the inability to recognize a reality different from the one in which they believe.

This state of soul, in which a person is not aware of the evil that he is doing, occurs in a person when he either does not want to check his behavior with reason, or, even worse, uses his reason to justify his actions, when he has fallen under the temptations associated with them superstitions.

Internal behavior includes your thoughts, emotions and internal monologue. It can manifest itself in the fact that you think about your interlocutor all the time or cannot stop thinking about him after a meeting. If you're constantly checking your phone waiting for him to respond or waiting for his reaction to your text, you may be becoming obsessive.

But blind at heart, alas, he does not feel such danger!
