Come to your senses. A very characteristic human phrase. It implies that an unhealthy person leaves a certain capsule, in which he is usually enclosed and which does not allow to break out, for example, rage like the one that Gulliver showed at night. Being healthy means being buttoned up.

... you can't immediately understand people, because they don't understand themselves. They have long been hiding in clothes. In a figurative sense, too. This is what I mean. This is the price of human civilization - in order to create it, they had to close the doors to their true self. And now, as far as I understand, they are lost. Therefore, they invented art - books, music, films, plays, paintings, sculpture - to build bridges to themselves, to their original essence. But no matter how close they get to her, she still remains inaccessible to them.

People cannot be trusted. They don't even trust themselves.

It turned out that with age, a person's life becomes more terrible. You are born with small arms and legs and boundless happiness, and then the legs and arms grow, and the happiness slowly evaporates. From adolescence, happiness already strives to slip out of hands, and starting to fall, it flies faster and faster into the abyss. From the very consciousness that it can slip out, it becomes more and more difficult to keep it, no matter how big the arms and legs grow.

He grinned, but I understood: years of servile submission to the two-legged ensure that he will treat me with some degree of respect due to the fact that I, too, walk on two legs.

Like religion, human history is full of depressing phenomena such as colonization, disease, racism, sexism, homophobia, class snobbery, environmental destruction, slavery, totalitarianism, military dictatorship, inventions that people do not know how to use (atomic bomb, Internet, semicolon), persecution of smart people, worship of idiots, boredom, despair, cyclical crises and spiritual catastrophes. And all this against the background of taking truly disgusting food.

This meant that he belonged to a special subgroup of people called adolescents, whose main characteristics are reduced resistance to gravity, extensive vocabulary for expressing displeasure, poor orientation in space, regular masturbation, and the ability to endlessly eat grains.

Being human in itself is enough to drive you crazy.

She laughed, and her laugh was not at all like her voice. From such laughter, I want the air to cease to exist, through which these crazy waves spread and reach the ears.

The cow is a hoofed animal domesticated on Earth for numerous purposes, from which food, drinks, fertilizers and designer shoes are obtained. People raise cows on farms, and then cut their throats, butcher the carcass, arrange the meat in portions, freeze it, sell it and cook it. By doing all this, they apparently gain the right to rename the cow to beef. These words sound very different: apparently, when a person eats a cow, the last thing he wants is to think about this animal.

Marriage is truly an outlandish concept. Perhaps there are not enough magazines on the whole planet for me to understand it. The psychiatrist explained. I'm even more confused. Marriage is a "love union" meaning that two people who love each other stay together forever. But, in my opinion, this suggests that love is a rather weak connecting factor and it needs to be strengthened by marriage. In addition, the union can be broken with the help of the so-called divorce, from which it follows - as far as I can tell - that from a logical point of view there is no sense in marriage. More like self-deception.

People, as a rule, do not like crazy people, unless they can draw beautifully. Although even then the madmen are recognized only posthumously.

Later I realized that everything on this planet is wrapped in something. Packaged food. Bodies in clothes. Contempt in a smile. Everything is hidden.

Not only are you mortal, you also have to spend some of your precious, very limited time reading. It is not surprising that people are such an underdeveloped species: barely having time to read enough books to relatively reasonably dispose of information, an individual dies.
