Book: Contemporary Challenges to Islam

Why are the music and film industries so obsessed with sex? We are told that this is because “sex sells,” that is, the masses want sex, they want to see it and consume it. Thus, these industries are simply satisfying an already existing demand. In fact, these industries create demand. They force shamelessness on people until they create dependence. It's the same with drug distribution. Nobody naturally wants to inhale smoke. No one wakes up wanting to inject deadly chemicals into their veins. Nobody naturally wants to drink the rancid, rotten fermentation products of putrid fruits and vegetables. These are all artificial desires that these industries spend billions of dollars a year on, injecting them into the minds and souls of people through advertising and other forms of cultural engineering until people begin to think that these desires arise naturally and therefore need to be satisfied. This is why Western morality is so naturalistic. According to him, the most moral thing is to act in accordance with natural human rights and natural human interests. The liberal human rights regime is based on this. But no one is interested in how natural these rights and interests are? And even if they are natural, who decided that we are morally obligated to act in accordance with what is “natural”?

How many of them actually went against the grain and sought the truth despite constant opposition, ridicule and adversity?

I thought it was obvious, but I guess I was wrong, so I need to say it straight out. Fighting feminism does not mean that a person is fighting women's rights. And being for women's rights does not mean being a feminist. Feminism does not have a monopoly on representing women's interests. In fact, feminism itself often neglects their interests.

Modernity teaches people that depriving yourself of what you want can make you weak, sick, or even cause psychological problems. But in fact, the fight against base passions is a source of strength for the body, heart and mind.

Materialists, naturalists and atheists have a fairly long history of denying the existence of things that do not fit into their very narrow, limited picture of the world. God is always number one on their list of objects of denial. But the public does not realize, and atheists do not publicize, the fact that their naturalistic, materialistic philosophy requires the denial of much more than God. They don't want the world to know this, because then people will wake up and see what a stupid picture of the world these philosophers are imposing on them. For example, the strict scientific empiricism demanded by the New Atheists—the idea that only those things exist that science observes and discovers—also requires a denial of the existence of mind. Science has not discovered intelligence. Only electrical signals can be found in the brain, but this is not the same as the mind. Have you ever seen someone else's thoughts? Have you experienced their internal states? Did you feel their emotions? No. All we see are external actions. The inner minds of others are beyond our means of perception. Does this mean that we do not believe that others have consciousness similar to ours? If we begin to consistently apply the standards of scientific empiricism that atheists actively use, we will inevitably come to this conclusion. This is absurd! This is why we reject scientific empiricism and the simple-minded atheism based on it.

Eat. Here's one of the reasons. The vast majority of people throughout history have clearly believed in some supernatural entity or entities. The fact that they give different characteristics to these supernatural beings does not take away from the fact that all these people believe in one or another supernatural being. Moreover, these beliefs were held by people in different parts of the world and at different time periods independently of each other. The burden of explaining this phenomenon falls on the materialist-atheist. If these beliefs do not stem from actual experience, then they must stem from widespread human error, or the predisposition of people to make big mistakes about what does and does not actually exist in their world. And these delusions must be so strong that they bring all these people into a state of deep religious devotion. In other words, these are not just passing hallucinations. This delusion, that is, the “religious delusion,” must be deeply and constantly experienced to such an extent that people suffering from it do not even suspect that they are mentally unbalanced. But to claim that most people are so profoundly and persistently deluded and prone to making such serious cognitive errors is to dismiss the human mind itself and its ability to accurately recognize and understand the world. Such a statement casts great doubt on reason and, therefore, on the conclusions of materialistic atheists themselves, who rely entirely on the ability of the human mind to understand its place in the Universe and discover its greatest secrets. In other words, the recognition of the supernatural is so universal in nature and, therefore, so inherent in human nature and the human mind’s perception of the surrounding world that to discredit this general concept of the supernatural means to discredit the human mind itself, along with the ability of humanity to be in this world and perceive it as he really is. This is the idea that materialistic atheism holds without realizing the self-destructive nature of its program.

Why do the world's leading scientists even put forward these far-fetched theories? Because they understand that a purely physical explanation of the world cannot be adequate. They understand that a purely naturalistic picture cannot answer the most important and pressing questions. At the same time, they recognize that the Universe has all the characteristics of a designed, created system, as if there was a plan and will behind it all. But they refuse to admit that they actually mean God. So they have to invent aliens, computer simulations, and other simple stories to make sense of things that make no sense from the point of view of strict materialism. Maybe one day they will unearth the truth they worked so hard to hide.

In the light of modernity, there is nothing more contrary to progress than “limited believers” who blindly accept texts thousands of years ago and observe canonized religious laws. Thus, modernity seeks to destroy this religious obstacle to progress through an all-out, large-scale attack involving the media, education, law and global politics. This attack is as big as it is brutal.
