Words cannot be just words, but are used as just words, so our life becomes empty and imaginary.

“With America's abysmally low economic growth,” writes Time magazine, “we can't even save ourselves from 9 percent unemployment in our own country, much less begin to save the world.”

Life is a ladder in which some steps are always missing.

I firmly believe that laughter improves health and prolongs life. A minute of laughter means a person lives a day longer. On average, our carpet workers are in the arena for thirty minutes per evening. So, after laughing at one performance, people extend their lives by a month. It is no coincidence that an ancient eastern proverb says: “One clown coming to a city gives people more health than a hundred donkeys loaded with medicine.”

Is there anywhere on earth an unoffended soul? I was offended so much that I was already tired of being offended. What can you do if people cannot do otherwise? Resentments interfere with getting things done; dwelling on them is a waste of time. Such a life! I used to get angry with people, but I thought, I see - it’s not worth it. Everyone is afraid that a neighbor might hit him, and he tries to punch him in the ear as quickly as possible. Such is my life, dear!

Either adapt or die. Cruel but fair. No one owes us anything in this life.

We are all now pawns on a chessboard, where the only thing that everyone can take out of the leaky travel bag behind their back is at stake - life. But it’s funny, I’ve always been a lousy player.

Life is a song that has turned into reality.

Life consists of millions of stories; life itself is one continuous story.

You know, father, our life should be like a Napoleon cake - dough, cream, dough, cream, and powder on top. If our cake consists of only one dough, it will not be tasty. If it consists of only one cream, it will be too sweet. And if the dough is interspersed with layers of cream - dough-cream, dough-cream, dough-cream, and powder on top - then such a pie will be sweet. The dough is our labors, our worldly cares. If our whole life consists only of them, then such a life will not be sweet. If we have only one cream, that is, only one prayer from morning to night, which is practically impossible in our life, then this will also be wrong, and it will not work. But with us everything should be harmonious and measured - our works should be intertwined with prayers. And not necessarily with long ones - you can with very short ones: Lord,

The better we ourselves become, the better our life will be.
