Before things get to physical, much less sexual violence, there is psychological violence first.

Fear is like a figure who practices domestic violence. She cannot do anything about her main problem and takes out her anger and powerlessness on someone who is much weaker.

Few things are clearer in the gospel than the incompatibility of love and violence.

Children who are neglected, brushed aside, criticized, abused, internalize negative self-images and carry them into adulthood. They internalize ideas, feelings, and self-images such as "I'm bad, unloved, no one cares about me, I'm a burden." These misconceptions are destructive and contrary to the gospel.

In many tense relationships, there is a heavy psychological underpinning. And although nothing justifies domestic violence and abuse, it rarely happens that one is absolutely right and the other is absolutely wrong, that one of the spouses is good and the other is bad. Relationships are adversely affected by both partners.

She lives in a world of violence and fear where children die before they can live and she doesn't want to be a part of it anymore.

Increasing violence, Power inevitably reduces its own stability. Not the smartest approach. By the way, it is precisely for this reason that it is naive to call the post-Stalinist USSR a totalitarian state, since the quality and depth of education of the population, and not the scale of violence, constantly increased in it. Educated people cannot be kept by violence, only by an idea. And the destruction of the USSR occurred precisely at the moment when the authorities could not adequately respond to the emerging economic problems.

Each person has the right to be mistaken and not to understand the sage, who in this sense endows everyone with freedom, and only violence and coercion of tyranny with its unambiguity wins over the supporters of reason. Wise is not the one who prefers to sacrifice other people's lives, but the sage who sacrifices his own. For the sage, freedom and value are not in places, but everywhere. Where I would do so, I will liken others to myself.
