After all, the United States is the only country in the world that has used nuclear atomic weapons, moreover, against a non-nuclear state. Against Japan. At the end of World War II. Against Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There was absolutely no military sense in this. This was a direct extermination of the civilian population. Why am I talking about this? Because I know that the United States as a whole is determined to have certain relations with us, but on those issues that are of interest to the United States itself. And on their terms. Although I do not think that we are the same as them, but we are different people, we have a different genetic and cultural moral code. But we know how to defend our own interests. And we will work with them. But only in those areas in which we ourselves are interested. And on the terms that we consider beneficial for ourselves. And they will have to reckon with it. Despite all their attempts to stop our development, sanctions, insults, they will have to reckon with this. Well, we, keeping in mind our national interests, will develop relations with all countries of the world, including the United States. Like this, in general terms.

Their interest in the game and in the obscene anecdote quite fully characterizes the main circle of interests by which they live.

But the most important thing in our reaction to politically motivated restrictions in the economy, by the way, is only for the fact that we exist and for the fact that we show the ability to defend our national interests, and there is really nothing else here. Most importantly, the reaction to what is happening in this regard is not even import substitution, although it is extremely important. The most important thing is to create competitive conditions for doing business within the country.

We are faced with the so-called policy of containment. This has long been well known. We are not talking about competition that is natural for international relations, but about a consistent and very aggressive line aimed at disrupting and slowing down our development, creating problems along the outer perimeter and contour, provoking internal instability, undermining the values that unite Russian society. Ultimately weaken Russia and put it under external control. A targeted information campaign is also being conducted against us with unsubstantiated accusations on a number of issues. Absurd anecdotal conspiracy theories are being used, attempts to question our achievements in medicine, in the fight against the coronavirus. They are trying to shackle us with economic and other sanctions, to block major international projects in which not only we, but also our partners are interested, to directly interfere in public and political life, in the democratic procedures of our country. And of course, tools from the arsenal of special services are used. I want to repeat: such a line against Russia is absolutely hopeless. We are ready to conduct an open dialogue, to find compromise solutions to the most difficult problems on the basis of mutual trust and respect. But of course the main thing for us is the sovereignty of Russia, its national interests, the security of our citizens, the right of our people to determine their own future. And these values - the basis of our development - must be reliably protected.

Kind people will give you the right advice. Spiteful ones - they prophesy adversity, troubles and troubles, but this will only temper you. Haters will teach you how to properly defend their truth, their interests. And liars will give wisdom to realize their mistakes.

And here we come to us. About values and interests. It seems to me that in all the constructions that N.V. Zlobin made, he missed one very important thing. For a Russian person, his state is the highest value. Because this is the form of his existence. Because without the state, this global (Western) bosses will roll up questions on compromises and eat us up. And therefore, this state is the main, basic value for us. Without this, nothing will survive. And the interests of this state - both for a simple soldier, and for a simple Russian philosopher, and for a simple Russian farmer - are always the most important thing. For those who are not of value - this is where problems arise. Such a person falls out of consensus. But such people are not 20-30%. I personally know such people, patriots, who voted against the amendments to the constitution. Which does not make them non-patriots. They will die for this state, if necessary. But dialogue with them is just possible. Opposition could be one of them. Not from this clientele of global bosses.

Those who are ready to delve into our interests are bound to become the conquerors of our hearts.

Unfortunately, Russia's development without a conflict with the West is impossible. In general, in principle, there is no situation in which it would be possible to maintain good-neighborly relations, mutual understanding with the West and develop the country. In absolutely all areas, the interests of our development are in conflict with the interests of the West. Finance. They don't want us to be financially self-reliant. Production. They don't want anything to be produced here. They don't want technology to develop here. About meanings - God forbid at all. That would be nice for everyone to understand. And decide. either you sell the Motherland, or, if you see patriotism in a different way, anti-Kremlin, you must understand that there is no other way.

What Putin said in Davos is very interesting. This indicates that we clearly understand which way we are going, what our national interests are. And very politely, very calmly, we made it clear that we did not agree at all. But let's understand that we are not a gang, but a nation, and our own interests coincide with the interests of the country! And everything will work out!
